Piles of ties – Guelph Junction Railway has begun collecting old railway ties from alongside its tracks for removal. Here a pile of thousands of old creasote-soaked railway ties, taken from the tracks at Carter Road and Cooks Mill Road, are piled along the tracks at the Arkell siding.
