Guelph-Eramosa to host Party in the Park Aug. 2

The Township of Guelph-Eramosa is hosting the 2018 Party in the Park at Rockmosa Park on Aug. 2 from 5pm to 9:30pm with fireworks to follow.

This year’s Party in the Park will feature fireworks, a variety of food trucks, live entertainment, a licensed area, street performers, Paw Patrol and Minion characters, a rock climbing wall, bouncy castles, face painting, a café tent, axe throwing and much more.

This event was generously sponsored by Tammy Sells Rockwood (Remax) and the Cory Young Insurance Group Inc. (the Cooperators).

“We wanted to build off of the successful party we had last year at the grand opening of the Rockmosa Skate Park and host another fantastic community event in Rockwood,” said Mayor Chris White.

“We are thrilled about the activities planned for this year and hope to see everyone come out to this fun event for the whole family.”

Rockmosa Park is located at 110 Rockmosa Drive in Rockwood and features a splash pad and a new skate park. Fireworks are scheduled to begin at 9:30pm.

The township asks attendees to bring blankets and lawn chairs for watching fireworks, cash for food and drink, water bottles and closed toed shoes if they wish to participate in the axe throwing event.

The township is also encouraging residents to walk or ride their bikes to the event.
