GUELPH – Guelph Dance recently announced its lineup for the 26th annual Guelph Dance Festival.
The 2024 Guelph Dance Festival will take place from May 31 to June 2 in a variety of venues across the city.
“We are pleased to reveal the programming featuring compelling performances and uniquely engaging workshops with a dynamic range of marvelous local and national artists,” state officials in an April 6 press release.

Tickets are now available through the River Run Centre’s Box Office online at riverrun.ca, by phone at 519-763-3000 or in person.
You can also experience the festival with its sliding scale flexible ticketing structure – including single event tickets and Festival Passes.

May 31
7pm: IN THE PARK featuring FakeKnot presenting Croquis, Jera Wolfe and Natasha Kanapé Fontaine presenting About the Dream, Tanveer Alam presenting Tarana, and Fujiwara Dance Inventions presenting Moving Parts at Exhibition Park.
June 1
– 10am: FakeKnot “Paper Dress” Crafting WORKSHOP at Exhibition Park;
– 12pm: IN THE PARK featuring the same programming as Friday;
– 4pm: IN THE LAB featuring Jillian Peever presenting The View From Here at International Institute for Critical Studies in Improvisation ImprovLab (IICSI, University of Guelph);
– 8pm: ON THE STAGE featuring Tentacle Tribe presenting Ghost at River Run Centre; and
– 9:30pm: Festival Party at artBar.
June 2
– 10:30 am: Tentacle Tribe Approach WORKSHOP at Exhibition Park;
– 12pm: IN THE PARK featuring the same programming as Friday; and
– 3:30pm: IN THE STUDIO featuring Dust and Soul Dance presenting It Falls with the Rain at Guelph Youth Dance Studios.
