Lloyd Longfield has been named president and chief administrative officer of the Chamber of Commerce.
Chief Executive Officer Ramona Ostrander, announced the appointment. Longfield will replace Ian Smith who is retiring at the end of January.
Longfield has varied business experience, ranging from Winnipeg to England, the United States, and Germany, to working in senior management, across Canada.
His family has lived in Guelph for over 15 years. He has been an active volunteer in Holy Rosary and St James Catholic High School parent councils, as well as holding various positions at Holy Rosary Parish.
