The Symphony Orchestra here will perform its holiday concert, The Snowman, on Dec. 16 at River Run Centre.
Two shows will run at 2 and 4pm. The one-hour show is especially for children and families, and features Raymond Briggs’ 1980s animation The Snowman, with the soundtrack played by the orchestra.
The program will also include excerpts from The Nutcracker suite, some popular songs from host Max Denardis, a singalong Twelve Days of Christmas, not to mention going on a sleigh ride with Leroy Anderson. Santa Claus might drop by.
