Toronto Star columnist Judy Steed will be the keynote speaker at the Guelph-Wellington Seniors Association’s Make Yourself at Home program launch Oct. 28.
Steed published a series of articles on the “demographic tsunami” and facts considered important to seniors who wish to successfully age at home.
The association offers outreach to older adults.
An addition is The Make Yourself At Home program, offering peer advocate support.
The association has received government funding to develop that program.
The group will meet at the United Church at 75 Norfolk Street from 1 to 3pm on Oct. 28. Everyone is welcome.
