This county’s seven municipalities will each be giving away 5,000 tree seedlings starting this Saturday morning and continuing until May 10.
And all seven municipalities are hoping to benefit area projects – even though the trees are free. Minto, Puslinch, and Mapleton will be giving their trees away starting this Saturday.
Guelph-Eramosa Township will be holding its giveaway on May 3, with the remaining municipalities distributing May 10. All municipalities are collecting for their local food banks except Wellington North, which is collecting cash donations for the Arthur swimming pool and the new Mount Forest Sports complex.
