Gravel Watch Ontario is hosting a public meeting at the Puslinch Community Centre on Oct. 1 to help engage and partner with municipal leaders.
The intent of the meeting is to provide examples of successful community group partnerships with municipalities and the strategies for making those partnerships happen.
Keynote speaker is Ingersoll Mayor Ted Comiskey who is leading efforts to prevent the conversion of an active quarry to a landfill – near the community and its water source.
Doors open at 6pm for displays, presentations begin at 7pm. Admission to offset costs is $10 for adults and $5 for seniors and students.
