GRAND VALLEY – A total of 55 hardy participants plunged into the chilly waters of the Grand River on New Year’s Day. They were taking part in the 33rd edition of the Grand Valley Lions Club Polar Bear Dip. The event raised a record $5,578, which will be used to support the local food bank.
