The Centre Wellington Rotary Club will be making a big donation to Groves Hospital in Fergus this year.
The club recently hosted its annual Grant Taste – an offering of goodies prepared by dozens of restaurants in Centre Wellington Township. It was held at the Grand River Raceway and included a silent auction.
All the money is donated to Groves to purchase and pay for specialized equipment that does not get funded by the health care system.
Organizer Noreen Winter said on Monday the profit was $12,000 and she was pleased with the results of the event.
