Epilepsy Huron Perth, in conjunction with Epilepsy Associations across Canada – is once again making plans for its largest annual fundraising and awareness campaign – Glad Days.
During August, gladioli are sold to help support those affected by epilepsy. All revenue from the campaign is directed toward increasing public awareness and providing educational programs. Epilepsy is the most common neurological disorder – second only to headaches – affecting 1% of the population.
Minto councillors had no issue with the group selling gladioli in Palmerston on Aug. 13 and 14.
