Gayle Ackroyd performs at Guelph Little Theatre

GUELPH – Local singer-songwriter Gayle Ackroyd is teaming up with 2BJazz for a performance at Guelph Little Theatre on May 31.

The concert, dubbed “Live in the Lobby,” will kick off with Ackroyd performing some of her “catchy originals,” including songs from her He Surprises Me and Hooked on Love albums.

Accompanying herself on guitar and ukulele, the award-winning songwriter will also sing some of her favourite cover tunes.

For the second set, she will be joined on stage by 2BJazz brothers John Borse on electric guitar and Tim Brose on bass for “toe-tapping tunes that will keep you swaying,” a news release states.

The show starts at 7pm, and tickets are $20  – available on Eventbrite (eventbrite.ca/e/gayle-ackroyd-with-2bjazz-tickets-884200386157) or at the door.
