Police have charged an Arthur man in connection with three gas thefts last month.
The first occurred on Feb. 25 in the Township of Middlesex Centre, the second on Feb. 14 in Arthur and the third on Feb. 25 in Fergus.
Police say, “The suspect’s description and a stolen licence plate linked each theft-of-gas.”
The suspect was arrested on Feb. 25 on Highway 6, north of Guelph.
Robert William James Rolfe, 31, of Arthur, was charged with three counts of theft under $5,000 and one count of possession of methamphetamine. He is to appear in Guelph Court on April 6.
