GUELPH – The Guelph Humane Society (GHS) announced Happy Tails Gala raised more than $150,000 in support of vulnerable animals in Guelph and Wellington County.
The event, presented by returning title sponsor Speedy Auto Service Guelph, was held on Nov. 2 and brought together 300 animal lovers, supporters, and community partners in a celebration of compassion, resilience, and hope for a more humane future.
“The gala captivated attendees with stories of remarkable recoveries made possible by GHS’s dedicated care,” officials state.
“The success of this year’s Happy Tails Gala is a testament to the incredible commitment of our supporters and the generosity of our community,” said GHS executive director Lisa Veit.
“Every dollar raised helps us provide essential medical care, safe shelter, and the comfort of a loving environment for animals in need.”
The funds raised will go directly to GHS programs, including essential veterinary care, adoption services, and GHS Cares Programs for animals.
