FERGUS – At a time when clean, safe water is becoming an increasingly scarce resource, Watermaker stands as a beacon of innovation and reliability. Located in the heart of Fergus, their advanced water treatment company is dedicated to transforming the way residents’ access and consume water. With a commitment to cutting-edge technology, sustainability, and the well-being of the community, they’re more than just a company – they’re part of the solution to a global challenge.
Since opening their first location in Orangeville in 1974, they’ve specialized in residential and commercial water treatment. In early 1975 they became an EcoWater dealer representing the world’s largest privately owned manufacturer of water treatment equipment. From there they have rapidly gained expertise in all areas. As a result, they now specialize in water softeners, iron and tannin removal, drinking water systems, and ultraviolet sterilization for both residential and commercial applications.
Over the years the company has expanded into both spring and distilled water to deliver its current selection of products throughout the Greater Toronto Area and Wellington County.
The experts at Watermaker believe in pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. Their state-of-the-art water treatment solutions are a testament to that philosophy. Utilizing advanced filtration techniques, reverse osmosis, and purification processes, they ensure that their customers’ drinking water is of the highest quality. Their systems are designed to remove contaminants, pollutants, and impurities, guaranteeing water that not only satisfies, but contributes to overall health.
Environmental stewardship is at the core of Watermaker’s values. They understand the impact that water treatment can have on the planet, and that is why they’ve taken great strides to minimize their ecological footprint. From energy-efficient equipment to low-waste initiatives, every aspect of their operation is geared towards sustainability. By choosing Watermaker, you’re not just investing in superior water quality – you’re also supporting a greener future.
Kyla Cronin manages the Fergus Watermaker location and is committed to actualizing the company’s slogan ‘Better Water, Better Life’.
“Ours is a 1:1 wastewater to good water ratio, as opposed to some other systems that are 3:1 or sometimes even 5:1, so we’re using far less water and saving our clients’ money,” Cronin said.
No two water sources are the same, and Watermaker recognizes the importance of customized solutions. Whether you’re a homeowner, a business owner, or part of a community project, they have a diverse range of products to meet your specific needs. Their professional team of engineers and technicians work closely with clients to analyze water composition and recommend the ideal treatment system. Customer satisfaction is their priority, and they’re dedicated to delivering water that exceeds expectations.
Wellington County isn’t just a location – it’s home. Watermaker is committed to giving back to the community and building relationships. Through sponsorships and awareness campaigns, they aim to empower individuals with knowledge about water conservation and treatment. By partnering with local organizations, they’re nurturing a generation that understands the value of our most precious resource.
When it comes to water treatment, there’s no room for compromise. Watermaker’s products undergo rigorous testing and quality assurance measures to ensure they meet the highest industry standards. They take pride in the durability, reliability, and performance of their systems. With Watermaker, you’re not just investing in a product. You’re investing in peace of mind.
“We do daily testing, if not twice, daily testing,” Cronin said.
“In this area we’ve found there’s a lot of chlorine in the water. It’s a requirement in town water, but often we’re finding there’s too much. We remove the chlorine in an all-in-one system, so customers don’t feel like they’re showering in pool water.”
Clean water isn’t just about hydration; it’s about healthy lifestyles. With Watermaker, you’re not only safeguarding your health but gaining the peace of mind that comes with knowing your family is drinking water free from harmful contaminants. Whether you’re a business owner or homeowner, serving pristine water to your customers or family can be a catalyst for positive change.
“We strive to be as local as possible and are in very friendly competition with the other water treatment systems in the area. We don’t outsource our installations. Our technicians are all Watermaker employees, and I find people appreciate that,” Cronin added.
As the challenges of water scarcity and pollution continue to mount, Watermaker remains steadfast in its commitment to being a beacon of hope and innovation. Their journey is driven by a passion for excellence and a vision of a world where clean, safe water is accessible to everyone. Join them in shaping a future where water quality is never compromised. Become a part of the solution and take the first step towards a healthier, more sustainable future.
