Fraberts Fresh Food was presented with the Rural Outreach Award by the Guelph-Wellington Business Enterprise Centre at the Bridges to Better Business STAR awards reception.
“We are very honoured to be recognized for our hard work in creating Fraberts Fresh Food,” said owner, Jackie Fraser.
“The award is presented for efforts in creating a successful and growing business through the application of commitment, dedication, hard work, ingenuity, and innovation,” stated Judi Riddolls, Executive Director of the Enterprise Centre.
Fraberts was nominated by the Enterprise Centre for the Rural Outreach award, sponsored by the Perth and Wellington-Waterloo Community Futures Development Corporation. Eligibility includes good business planning, a consistent growth and development pattern, and having been in business for less than three years. Judging is by an independent panel of judges from southern Ontario based on the application, marketing materials, and a personal interview.
