The Guelph Community Foundation is now accepting grant applications for building vital communities.
This year’s program will fund up $20,000 worth of projects within Guelph and Wellington County.
The foundation is seeking innovative, collaborative, and practical strategies to respond to pressing needs and emerging opportunities.
Potential areas of focus might include, but are not limited to, issues related to a growing gap between rich and poor such as: economic security, income security, food security, housing, and employment readiness.
The foundation invites requests for funding from charitable organizations working in learning and education, health and wellness, children and youth, social services, recreation, arts and culture, and the environment, for projects and initiatives that strengthen the development of vital and healthy communities. The application deadline is July 23.
