The Clifford and Area Food Bank usually has well stocked shelves.
At other times, the shelves look quite bare until volunteers head to the Hub in Kitchener to fully load a pick-up truck.
Organizers report the food bank could use some soup, cereal, crackers and brown sugar, or peanut butter and jam, or tins of tuna.
Food drives usually happen around Christmas, Easter, and Thanksgiving, but during back to school season families need to think about filling lunch boxes five days a week for their children.
Food can always be dropped off at the Knox United Church in Clifford when the doors are open or by calling 519-327-8588 and leaving a message.
Marion Agla of the Clifford and Area Food Bank expressed gratitude for all and any donations.
