The Guelph-Eramosa Fire Department responded to a grass fire on the Eramosa-Erin Townline between Wellington Roads 50 and 124 on March 26.
Deputy fire chief Jim Petrik said the grass fire was about 60 by 60 feet wide and took about an hour to extinguish “due to the dry conditions.”
There were 10 firefighters from the Guelph-Eramosa department on scene and no injuries were reported.
