The area’s largest garden festival will be held here on June 3.
The Harriston and District Horticultural Society’s 16th Annual Garden Festival will run from 8am to 2pm at the Harriston Community Centre Pavilion. Admission is free. The festival showcases local growers, artisans and garden-inspired articles as well as new plant introductions. The horticultural society will have its donated plant table filled with bargain-priced plants. A raffle will be held and a food booth on site. The festival is held in conjunction with the annual Minto Fire Harriston station pancake breakfast in the community centre from 7 to 11am.
A bake sale will be held at the breakfast and Leslie Motors is hosting a Drive 4 UR Community event in partnership with the Harriston Firefighters Association from 8am to 2pm.
