The Guelph-Eramosa Fire Department and its emergency response partners, will host an open house and information Day.
The event is at the Rockwood Fire Hall May 7 from 10am to 1pm.
There is a barbecue 11:30am to 12:30pm.
The Fire Hall is at 5141 on County Road 27. The event is held in conjunction with National Emergency Preparedness Week May 1 to 7. Fire and Emergency Services serving the township and Wellington County will be at the event to present at an informative day for the community.

– Could a flood affect your home?
– Do you have enough of the right supplies in your home to be self sufficient for 3 days?
Organizers invite everyone to come out and meet local fire firefighters and their response partners, take a walk through the Fire Safety Trailer and then enjoy a barbecue lunch with Sparky.
They remind everyone to be sure to enter the draw for a prize – and to get the answers to all those questions.
