Wellington OPP and the Wellington County Chapter of MADD Canada, along with the Guelph Police Service, recently launched the 2016 Festive RIDE program.
Police state RIDE programs have proven to be an effective deterrent to educate the public about the dangers of driving while impaired. Officers routinely check drivers for impairment by alcohol and drugs.
