The Elora Festival and Singers will present a gala fundraising dinner and wine tasting on Nov. 15 in the Waterside Room of the Elora Mill.
The evening starts with a champagne reception at 6pm. Guests will then have a five-course dinner prepared by chef Matthew Foote, each course paired by selected, vintage wines chosen by Malcolm Roberts.
Foote, formerly of Langdon Hall Country House Hotel and Spa in Cambridge and Four Seasons Toronto, has been hailed by a national reviewer as “using his substantial imagination to ensure his menu can hold its own with most upscale restaurants in any city in Canada.”
Roberts was recently awarded Vigneron d’honneur de la Jurade de St.-Émillion.
The evening will end with live and silent auctions.
Tickets ($225) are available at 846-0331. A tax receipt for the allowable amount will be issued. All proceeds are benefit of the Elora Festival Singers.
