On Sunday, Feb. 27, the Fergus & District Kinsmen will host the 15th anniversary edition of the Fergus Wedding Showcase – a milestone occasion of bringing Centre Wellington’s brides and grooms a sample of the best wedding services available in our community.
To commemorate the 15th anniversary celebration, one lucky bride will win the Crystal Bride Grand Prize Package, valued at over $1,200.
The package contains discounts toward many of the wedding day products and services brides will use to create their dream day, courtesy of The Digital DJ’s, Amber Richmond Photography, Fancy That Cake, Cobblestone Creations, Pampered Chef – Brenda Dineen, Herbal One Fergus, Bentley House Tea Room Catering, Tupperware – Elizabeth Stemmer, Burke’s Tent Rentals, and Fraberts Fresh Food.
Only pre-registered and pre-paid brides are eligible to win this special package.
While some may find it out-of-the-ordinary for an all-male service club to assist brides and grooms with their wedding plans, Kinsmen Bruce Lloyd says, “It’s all about the cause.
The Fergus Wedding Showcase is an opportunity for brides to find the best local products and services that will make their day everything they dreamed for; in the process, all of the proceeds benefit Cystic Fibrosis Canada. It’s a perfect marriage for a cause.”
Returning for its second year is the Special Catering Showcase, a popular feature that allows brides and grooms to sample dishes from the menus of two preferred caterers, free-of-charge upon entry.
The event also features fashion shows, dancing demonstrations, exhibits and prize draws valued over $500.
The Fergus Wedding Showcase is at the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex from 11am to 4pm. Admission is $7 per person, with proceeds proudly benefitting Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
