Fergus holds 186th annual Fall Fair

The 186th annual Fergus Fall Fair was held last weekend at the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex. Events included beef and cattle shows, a midway, sheep sheering and many others. Photos by Nicole Beswitherick

On Sept. 16 and 17 the Fergus Fall Fair ran “Farmer for a Day,” teaching children where their food comes from by picking an apple, an egg, milking a cow and some other fun activities. At the end, the children hand in their items in exchange for a prize.

The Ferris wheel was a big attraction at the midway on the Saturday of the Fergus Fall Fair.

A popular draw at the Fergus Fall Fair last weekend was the midway. These three youngsters smiled and giggled while taking a ride on the roller coaster.
