FERGUS — On July 22, the Fergus Flippers won at their final swim meet held at the Wilmot Recreation Complex in Baden. The Flippers took home the trophy for SWORSA 2023 overall team champions and the SWORSA girls division and boys division champions. The swim team is coached by Angela Klein, and team members range in age from under eight to 18. Special awards were given at the team’s end-of-season party and Bennett Hindley received the Bob McGinnis Memorial Award for commitment and dedication to the team’s success. Isabel Robblee-Brown was another recipient and received the Outstanding Contribution and Commitment award. Details and more award winners can be found at fergusflippers.ca
