Community competition – The Fergus Curling Club held its second annual bonspiel to involve people and clubs from the community on Jan. 25. It is brainchild of Greg Moulton. The winners from Gordon’s Dairy Farm are, at centre from left, lead Dawna Laitar, skip Chris Laitar, vice-skip Scott Gordon and second Katrina Gordon. At either end are conveners Bonnie Talbot and Greg Moulton. Other teams represented the Township of Centre Wellington, RLB LLP, RBC, Diane Cook Travel, Fergus Legion, Groves Memorial Hospital and volunteers, the Lions Club, BLR Drafting and Design, Centre Wellington Fire and Rescue, Red Brick Realty, the Optimist Club and the FCC Board of Directors.
