The Easter Bunny is going to be in town this Saturday, April 4, from 11am to 2pm.
There will be treats handed out and a good time for all.
Many of BIA members are planning special activities to keep in the spirit.
Several places will be handing out treats and there will be a raffle and colouring contest as well as a story reading.
BIA members encourage businesses to decorate entryways in Easter spirit with balloons and streamers or other decorations.
For more information email organizers atfergusbia@gmail.com.
Tartan Day
There is no better way to celebrate Fergus’ Scottish roots than to join in the fun on April 12 when the Fergus Scottish Festival and Highland Games and the Fergus BIA paint the town plaid during National Tartan Day.
There will be lots going on – the kilted kilometre, pipe bands and Scottish music, Highland dancing and more.
There are even Fergus Tartan scarves available.
Participants can pick up a Fergus tartan scarf to help truly paint the town tartan, enjoy the vibrant downtown, and celebrate all things Scottish.
