Spring plant sale – The Fergus and District Horticultural Society held its annual spring plant sale on May 27. Plants and trees were for sale behind the sportsplex in Fergus. You have to be on time to get the best selection at this popular sale, as people were lined up before the 8am opening and society officials say attendance was up from last year. Pieter Agema and his two sons Roelof, centre, and Douwe purchased a dogwood tree. Evelyn Webber and Lucas Reaume picked out some flowers.
