The Elora Farmers’ Market on March 17 is having a pancake breakfast to celebrate that day.
It is also the last day of the winter market.
There will be pancakes, sausages, maple syrup crepes and more. Because it is St. Patrick’s Day, Davy Wilcox will be on hand to play and sing Irish tunes.
All vendors will have their wares on display, including baking, fresh meats, eggs, cheeses, honey, prepared foods, fruits, vegetables and local maple syrup.
The market runs from 9am to 1pm.
The market is also having a draw for a lap quilt. It is one that all market vendors and many of customers added their own stitches to, so it is a market memento. A food donation to the Centre Wellington Food Bank enables visitors to enter the draw. It will be held at the end of market on March 17.
Vendors thank their loyal customers. The summer outdoor marker will open at Bissell Park in Elora on May 12.
