PALMERSTON – The Minto Farmers’ Market is open all September long and inviting everyone to celebrate the beginning of autumn at its Fall Fun Day on Sept. 23.
From 9am to 12pm, families are encouraged to shop the Minto Farmers’ Market at the Palmerston Railway Heritage Museum with local farm, bakery, and artisan vendors, participate in fall activities, enjoy outdoor games and coffee and hot chocolate by donation.
The first 50 attendees will receive a free homemade cookie. There will also be prizes for various guessing games and it will be a last chance to enter to win the weekly prize basket, with goodies donated by market vendors.
Live music
Starting at 10am there will be live music by a local band from Drayton.
“This will be the second last market of the season, so we encourage everyone to spend their Saturday morning enjoying fresh air, good company, fun activities, and shopping for some fresh produce and goods while it lasts,” says market manager Erin Raftis.
All activities are free. For more information, follow @mintofarmersmarket on Facebook and Instagram or email erin@town.minto.on.ca with any questions.
