ELORA – All your fall favourites can be found in one farm festival on Thanksgiving weekend.
Enjoy sipping on pumpkin spiced lattes, hot apple cider or hot chocolate while shopping the Artisan Market and listening to live music.
Shop over 30 artisans at the market and then hop on a horse-drawn wagon ride.
Grab a bite to eat, play a round of corn hole or warm up by the campfires and roast some marshmallows.
The kids will love the farm animals (alpacas, goats, sheep and a miniature horse), decorating pumpkins at the craft table, getting their face painted and exploring the corn mazes.
Conor Gains, an award-winning songwriter and past recipient of the Cobalt Prize Contemporary Blues Composition Award, will perform on Oct. 8.
Oct. 9 features duo Jack and Danica for a dynamic and crowd-pleasing show, with wide-ranging repertoire featuring the best of oldies, rock, pop, and R&B.
For tasty offerings, BeaverTails food truck will be serving up their famous treats and poutine; Le Chien Chaud is bringing their gourmet hot dogs to the farm; Hitched Coffee truck will have your fall favourites to sip on; and SCOOP will be dishing out homemade ice creams like pumpkin pie and apple crisp sundaes.
It’s a picturesque setting and ideal for photos, including the 1800’s doctors carriage surrounded by pumpkins, an iconic orange velvet couch, a vintage tractor, and more.
Enjoy horse-drawn wagon rides, play some corn hole and ring toss games, roast marshmallows by the campfire. The festival runs Oct. 8 and 9 from 10am to 4pm rain or shine. Admission is $15 for adults and $10 for kids.
