Fall fair fun in Harriston

Demolition derby – The Harriston-Minto Fall Fair wrapped up with a demolition derby on Sept. 17. Crowds gathered to watch cars race and smash into one another. Winners of the races were determined by how many “figure eights” they could do around concrete blocks, and the event finished off with the cars leftover that could still run smashing into one another.
Winner winner chicken dinner — This gentleman was one of the race winner at the demolition derby. Trophies were handed out by the Harriston Fall Fair ambassadors.

MINTO – The Explore Africa Animal Show was a big hit with fairgoers of all ages at the Harriston-Minto Fall Fair last weekend. “Around the World in Three Fair Days” was the theme of the fair, which ran from Sept. 15 to 18.
