Extended deadline for Reel Farm Video Challenge

Show your farm pride in a rant or music style video and win $1,000.

The Ontario Federation of Agriculture (OFA) – together with the Bruce County Federation of Agriculture and Farm Credit Canada – want to see the best Rick Mercer ‘rant’ style video. The submission deadline for the ‘Reel’ Farm Video Challenge has been extended to Oct. 15.

“Our agri-food industry has so many great stories and the ‘Reel’ Farm Video Challenge gives Ontario farmers an opportunity to share their stories in a fun, light-hearted and entertaining way,” says OFA president Mark Wales.

Participants can submit their video into one or both categories (rant or music). Winning entries in each category receive $1,000.

All video entries must present a positive portrayal of Ontario agriculture and all music parody videos must acknowledge the original artist and composer of the selected song.

The video challenge is open to all Ontario residents. Interested parties can download the challenge entry form, contest rules and guidelines at ofa.on.ca/videochallenge. There is no entry fee for this contest.

This new video challenge is organized by the OFA, Bruce County Federation of Agriculture and Farm Credit Canada. For more information, contact videochallenge@ofa.on.ca or 1-800-668-3276.
