Exhibition celebrates Guelph-Wellington’s emerging artists

GUELPH – Guelph Arts Council is inviting the public to this year’s Guelph Emerging Artist Mentorship Project Exhibition, Vanishing Points.

The show’s reception will take place at Guelph Arts Council and artBar, 37 Quebec Street, Guelph, on Dec. 13 from 6:30 to 8:30pm.

Vanishing Points is the culminating efforts of participants in the Guelph Emerging Artists Mentorship Project and features the works of emerging visual and musical artists Tim Campbell-Smith, Nicolas Valeriote, Morgyn Roberts, Madeline King, Jamie Cardow, Gabrielle Culham Putnoki, Dave Riedstra, Danielle Steed, Chelsea Moore and Andi Syme.

The community is invited to meet and celebrate Guelph-Wellington’s emerging creatives at the opening reception.

The Guelph Emerging Artist Mentorship Project supports artists, musicians and cultural managers in the critical transition to professional life.

Emerging-artist participants in each project round are mentored by established regional artists.

Guelph Arts Council is grateful to all the mentors who have guided many emerging artists since the project began in 2017.

Guelph Arts Council gratefully recognizes the support of RBC Emerging Artists Project, and its project partner the University of Guelph’s School of Fine Art and Music.
