“A proactive online undercover investigation was commenced in September … after receiving information from the Guelph Police Service,” states a Wellington County OPP press release.

The investigation, which involved local police as well as the OPP Child Sexual Exploitation and Digital Forensics units, resulted in a warrant being executed on Jan. 11.

Holden Raymond Sansolita, 29, of Erin, was charged with possession of child pornography, making child pornography available and two counts of accessing child pornography.

He was held in custody for a bail hearing on Jan. 11.
