On April 27, the Erin 4-H dairy club kicked off its 2008 year.
This year, along with judging and showmanship, the club hopes to explore the process of making milk into products, such as ice cream that can be bought in the grocery store.
In addition, the members will be taking part in various shows and events throughout the summer and fall to help them develop their showmanship skills and knowledge of dairy cattle.
As things start to gear up for summer, the members are enthusiastic to learn new things and are ready to tackle the challenges of training their project calves.
They look forward to an-other great year of “learning to do by doing.”
