ELORA – Police are still investigating after someone damaged construction equipment here recently.
On June 4 at about 8:50am Wellington County OPP received a report of damage to property including construction equipment on Ross Street in Elora.
Police say sometime overnight suspect/s entered the property, removed a fence then proceeded to damage the windshield of a bulldozer and the engine of a front-end loader.
The estimated cost of the damage is $6,500 and the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information can call police or CrimeStoppers.

ERIN – On June 6 at about 6:15am Wellington County OPP received a report of mischief to property at the Halton Crushed Stone Quarry on the 10th Line in Erin.
Police say suspect/s entered the gated property, tampered with construction equipment and smashed the windows out of a truck to gain access to the vehicle. The estimated cost of the damage is $1,000.
