Artists of all kinds are invited to a picnic hosted by the Elora Arts Council at Forest Gait Farm, 8122 Eramosa/Garafraxa Townline here.
The picnic will run from 10am to 4pm on Sept. 13 and artists from every medium are encouraged to come together to create and socialize.
The landscape and paso fino horses will offer an inspiration for all artists. Paint, pot, write, dance, sing, act, compose, take a photo or play music at the event. If the medium involves a performance the artist is encouraged to film it and post it to Youtube. If it is an object the Elora Arts Council will display the result.
Visitors not wishing to create art that day are encouraged to bring a lunch and a chair for 12 noon on Sept. 13 to engage in talk with fellow artists.
