FERGUS – Julia Dilecce and Chris Zimmerman raised $2,500 at their first Enchanted Forest of Fergus event in September and are donating the proceeds to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Centre Wellington.
“We are thrilled to be able to support such a great cause and we want to thank our community for making this possible,” Dilecce said.
The wooded area behind the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex was decorated with lights and artwork on Sept. 23 and 24, creating an enchanted forest.
The Toronto String Quartet played, and ragtime group The Vaudvillian performed.
Dilecce said another event is coming, possibly in December. Visit fergusenchantedforest.com, where details will be announced.
