Montreal-based singer/songwriter Emily Millard is making stops in Elora and Guelph during her latest Canadian tour.
Accompanied by the Aerialists whose instrumentation includes strings and Celtic harp Millard will be in Guelph on Oct. 12 at Silence at 46 Essex St. and in Elora on Oct. 14 at the Elora Acoustic Cafe (The Barn).
The musician released her latest collection of alt-folk gems, By Heron & By Season, on Oct. 7.
Formerly known as Miss Emily Brown, the new LP follows the Canadian Folk Music Award nominated artist’s first release under her birth name, the March 2016 single Paradise.
A poetry collection, also entitled By Heron & By Season, will be published as a companion piece to the album later this year.
