An accident involving a van and motorcycle near here has claimed the life of an Elora woman.
Heather Finch, a passenger on the motorcycle, died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash that occurred on the QEW Fort Erie just before the Peace Bridge at around 1:25pm on Aug. 1.
Officers from Niagara OPP Highway Safety Division investigated the crash.
OPP report the driver of the motorcycle is stable with non life threatening injuries and was transported to Niagara Hospital. The passenger was transported to ECMC Hospital in Buffalo where she died.
The collision was being investigated with the assistance of the OPP Traffic Support Unit. Witnesses are asked to contact the Niagara OPP Detachment (905) 356-1311.
