ELORA – If you’re thinking about Christmas, think about the Elora Singers.
The choir along with artistic director Mark Vuorinen, have two special concerts lined up in Centre Wellington.
On Dec. 8 at 4pm they’ll perform the Messiah, along with musicians of London Symphonia, at St. Joseph’s Church in Fergus.
Tickets are $55 for adults, $20 for students and $10 for children 12 and under.
Experience the virtuosic arias from soloists drawn from the choir and powerful choruses that will fill the beautiful sanctuary of St Joseph’s. It will be an evening you won’t soon forget!
On Dec. 17 and 18, they’ll be at St. John’s Anglican Church in Elora for the Festival of Carols.
The Dec. 17 concerts are at 5pm and 8pm and Dec. 18 has three performances, at 2:30, 5pm and 8pm.

Festival of Carols is an Elora Singers staple that invites the whole family to reminisce with favourite carols and discover old holiday favourites.

Concerts in 2025
The Singers kick off the new year with a performance on Feb. 23 at the Basilica of Our Lady in Guelph.
This performance, called Choral Tapestry, will be done with the Vancouver Chamber Choir from 4 to 6pm.
Tickets are $45 for adults, $20 for students and $10 for children 12 and under.
Expect a stunning blend of vocal textures as two of Canada’s premier choirs perform works from diverse traditions, showcasing the beauty of choral music through the ages.
And on April 6, from 4 to 6pm, the Elora singers will conclude the season with Burning Measures at St. Matthew’s Centre in Kitchener.
This show will feature a dynamic program with works by J.S. Bach, Arvo Pärt, and O’Regan.
