CENTRE WELLINGTON – Police have charged an Elora man with sexual assault in connection with an incident earlier this year.
On May 25, Wellington County OPP received a report of a sexual assault that occurred at a campground on the 8th Line in Centre Wellington.
“The sexual assault occurred in February, 2020 and the victim and the accused were known to each other,” police stated in a press release.
A 46 year-old man from Elora was charged with sexual assault and is to appear in Guelph court on Sept. 4.
