CENTRE WELLINGTON – Elora Community Theatre (ECT) will be holding its Annual General Meeting on Nov. 1 at 7pm.
Like many not-for-profit and local cultural groups, this year the 48th AGM will be held virtually for the first time.
Traditionally the AGM is an opportunity to meet in person and celebrate the past year’s accomplishments and successes as well as business at hand. This year the meeting will be business as usual and a chance for many of the cast and crew to reconnect after months of COVID-19 distancing.
“More than ever it is so important that we stay connected and create programming to keep our cast and crew actively involved with ECT, for both the organization’s health and each other individually,” said president Deb Stanson.
“Our executive and board are planning to host a virtual cocktail party for a much needed social time following the regular core business.
“We hope that members new and old will sign on for the evening and perhaps consider joining the world of amateur theatre here in Centre Wellington.”
