ELORA – It’s time to tap into your inner Laurence Olivier or Judi Dench and demonstrate your acting chops.
The Elora Community Theatre is holding auditions on Sept. 13 and 14 for its next production, Jane Eyre, and is looking for some actors to take it on.
The book by Charlotte Bronte has been adapted by Thomas Hischak (with permission of Family Plays) and will be directed by Deb Stanson and David Turner.
The theatre is looking for females aged 12 to 80 and males aged 25 to 80 to take some roles.
Auditions will be held Sept. 13 and 14 from 7 to 10pm at the Central Pentecostal Church at 7674 Colborne St. in Elora.
Those wishing to participate must be fully-vaccinated, organizers say.
To book an audition, email debstanson@gmail.com or call (519) 496-6481.
“No preparation is necessary,” organizers say. “Could read from the script.”
Show dates are slated for Dec. 10 to 12 and 17 to 19 at the Fergus Grand Theatre.
