CENTRE WELLINGTON – An Elora woman is dead after being hit by a vehicle southwest of Salem on Tuesday evening.
Emergency crews responded to the scene, on Wellington Road 18 between Wellington Road 7 and 8th Line West, on Sept. 17 at about 8pm.
“Initial reports indicated that a red pickup truck collided with a cyclist … and the cyclist, a 55-year-old from Elora, was pronounced deceased at the scene,” stated a press release from the Wellington County OPP.
Police say anyone who was driving in the area and has dashcam footage, or anyone with information, can call 1-888-310-1122.
