The Elora Optimist Toy Show had been going for 16 years and has raised over $1000.00 for the Optimists to use for activities for children in the Community.
Due to the declining number of members and the age of the members the Elora Optimists decided not to be sponsors for the toy show,
Organizers John and Helen Broadfoot wish to thank the Elora Optimist for all their past support and help. John and Helen approached Alma Optimist and they have agreed to continue the toy show with their help.
A special presentation by John and Helen to the members of Elora Optimist will be made at the toy show on Sunday March 15 at 2:30pm. Please come to the toy show and show your thanks and appreciation to Elora Optimist.
The toy show will be called “Elora/Alma Optimist Toy Show” and will be held on Sunday March 15 2009 at the Elora Community Centre.
Optimist Clubs in the area work hard at raising funds for children in the community and they all need your help and support.
