MINTO – Alternative winter programming at the Clifford arena, where ice has not been installed for several seasons, is proving popular, Minto council heard at its April 2 meeting.

CENTRE WELLINGTON – Anand Kaur, a Grade 1 student at Victoria Cross Public School in Mount Forest, attended the Fergus fire station on April 10 to claim her prize as "Fire Chief for a Day."

BRUCEDALE – Guelph/Eramosa council has renewed its agreement with the Rockwood Farmers Market, but the vote to do so was not unanimous.

ERIN – The town scored nearly perfect in provincial drinking water inspections last year.
