The Elora Community Theatre (ECT) is offering its fifth season of Shakespeare in the Park at Bissell Park in Elora.
As You Like It
As You Like It, written by William Shakespeare, adapted by Laura Hunter and directed by David Tanner and Deb Stanson will run from July 6 to 8 and July 13 to 15. The Friday show will take place at 7pm, Saturday and 2 and 7pm and Sunday at 2pm.
Anne of Green Gables
The ECT will also performing Anne of Green Gables at the Fergus Grand Theatre. The story was written by Lucy Maud Montgomery, adapted by Anita Larsen and directed by Deb Stanson.
The show will take place Dec. 7 to 9 and Dec. 14 to 16 at the Fergus Grand Theatre. On Fridays the show will run at 8pm, Saturday at 2 and 8pm and Sunday at 2pm.
The Dining Room
The ECT will also be performing The Dining Room by A. R. Gurney and directed by Julie Wheeler-Bryant
The show will run in 2019 from Feb. 8 to 10 and Feb. 15 to 17 at the Fergus Grand Theatre.
On Friday the show will run at 8pm, Saturday at 2 and 8pm and Sunday at 2pm.
Shorthanded
Shorthanded will be performed in May of 2019 at the Fergus Grand Theatre. The play was written by Michael Grant and will be directed by Jim Monaghan.
The show will take place in 2019 from May 3 to 5 and May 10 to 12. On Friday the show will play at 8pm, Saturday at 2 and 8pm and on Sunday at 2pm.
